I am a BRIT, originally from the county of Cheshire in England - Yes I am a genuine Cheshire Cat :-)   But I have not lived there since I was 17 yrs old. (I definitely prefer the warmer weather!!)

I went to boarding school there, (which I loved) from age 11 to 17 .. the first one was called "Roedean" in Brighton which is in the very MOST South East  part of England.  I went there from the age of 11-13 with my older [by 5 yrs] sister, and left when she graduated.

Then I went to  Malvern Girls College.  in Worcestershire. 
This is where the famous Malvern Spings drinking water comes from (The Queen never goes anywhere with out it - sort of like an American Express Card !!)  I went there for 4 yrs, till age 17 when I completed my  "A" levels (Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry) but was too immature to go straight to a 4 year  University!!....

So I left to explore the world - starting with the South of France.  It was a fabulous year in some aspects and very painful for me in others - you can read my testimony that includes this part HERE

I worked for Motorola for almost 18 years but that all came to an end Dec 2004 when Motorola decided to close down the entire Boynton Beach site  - It's been one of the BEST things to happen to me. I LOVE being at home now and have started my own company called Field Cottage Designs. I LOVE it, I do Web Sites, Logos and Graphic Design.  I really enjoy the creativity. I even designed BOTH my own tattoos, this web page explains them both and the meaning behind them.

My Husband Nils & I have now been together longer than we haven't been together.

We met at age 18 and 19. Now we have been together for almost 26 yrs (on Valentines Day 2007) and have been married since June 1994. We celebrated our 20 year anniversary by going to Kauai  for 10 days (without the 4 kids!) it was AMAZING. We both kept journals too. Mine is here  Nils' is here

We live in Lake Worth, Florida, having moved to our latest house (which we LOVE) almost 11 years ago in March of 1996. Before that we lived in West Palm Beach, Florida for 10 yrs (which is only 10 miles from where we are now.) Before that we both went to school in Tampa, Florida.

Before that (where we met) was Miami, Florida.. but that's another story!!
